Ports
Expose a port on the agent's computer at a public HTTPS URL or TCP address.
The agent can expose a port on its computer. Use it to share a web app the agent built, or to connect to a service running on the computer.
Coming Q4 2026
AxAgent launches in Q4 2026. The API below may change before launch.
Protocols
| Protocol | You get | Use it for |
|---|---|---|
https | A public HTTPS URL | Web apps and HTTP APIs |
tcp | A public host and a port | Databases and other services |
Expose an HTTPS port
Start the server in the background, then expose its port.
await axerity.computers.exec(agent.id, 'pnpm dev --port 3000', {
background: true,
})
const app = await axerity.computers.ports.expose(agent.id, {
port: 3000,
protocol: 'https',
})
console.log(app.url)Expose a TCP port
const db = await axerity.computers.ports.expose(agent.id, {
port: 5432,
protocol: 'tcp',
})
console.log(db.host, db.port)An exposed port is reachable from the public internet. Only expose services that are meant to be reached.
You can also ask the agent in plain language, for example "Start the app and give me a link to it."
